That SAGD facilities use Non-Condensable Gas (NCG) for:
· Reservoir pressure maintenance
· Wind down
· Reducing SOR
· Improving thermal thief zones
But during production operations the NCG often becomes part of the emulsion pumped. This gas entrained multiphase flow wreaks havoc with ESPs, often causing expensive, premature system failures.
The Lift Plus System on the other hand, is simply unaffected by multiphase flow. It can’t be gas locked and with its infinite turn down capability can easily be adapted to the ever-changing bottom hole well parameters.
